FOTI: Fly home with UPS

**New section on this blog: Found on the Internet (FOTI). All posts would be tagged as such, and would consist of unsourced, unreferenced material that I have found on Teh Intertubez and/or via email, mostly humorous stuff. If anyone can point at a source for these pieces, I'd gladly put it up with the corresponding piece. If used images are copyrighted, I request the copyright owner to contact me, and I shall comply with his/her directions forthwith.**

FOTI: Impact of A Job Change

**I am going to start this new section on this blog: Found on the Internet (FOTI). All posts would be tagged as such, and would consist of unsourced, unreferenced material that I have found on Teh Intertubez and/or via email, mostly humorous stuff. If anyone can point at a source for these pieces, I'd gladly put it up with the corresponding piece.**

Impact of A Job Change

A taxi passenger tapped the driver on the shoulder to ask him a question. The driver screamed, lost control of the car, nearly hit a bus, went up on the footpath ('sidewalk' to Americans), and stopped centimeters from a shop window.

For a second everything went quiet in the cab, and then the driver said: "Look mate, don't ever do that again. You scared the daylights out of me!"

The passenger apologized and said, "I didn't realize that a little tap would scare you so much."

The driver sheepishly replied, "Sorry, it's not really your fault. Today is my first day as a cab driver - I've been driving a van carrying dead bodies for the past 25 years. You can imagine what went into my mind when you touched my shoulder!"
